| The Norwegian World Cup star featured in every game in France '98. He has played in several positions for Celtic since signing in September 1998 from Austrian side LASK Linz for a fee of £1.5million. Riseth prefers to hug the left side of midfield. Good in the air, which offers Celtic an extra option in dead-ball situations, Riseth can be prone to being caught in possession when trying to clear from defence. Took time to win over the fans, but gained new status in the eyes of the Celtic support, when sent-off in the final Old Firm game of the season. |
