| Callum Davidson |
Leicester Born: 6/25/76 Hometown: Stirling |
| When Graeme Souness took over as manager of Blackburn Rovers he immediately made a number of players available for transfer. Some of those had cost the ambitious Lancashire outfit many million's and Davidson was one such player. He had just played 28 league games in Nationwide Division One for a Blackburn side that were expected to achieve promotion back to the Premiership.A disappointing season, a new manager and a new broom meant that Davidson was one of those to feel the backlash of a season with so much expectation that ended dismally. But his summer move to Leicester prior to the 2000/2001 season, witnessed an upsurge in his fortunes and the overlapping left-back quickly made his mark at Filbert Street.A player who enjoys his forays forward he is best known for his attacking prowess and is constantly keen to join the front people with penetrating runs down the flanks. |
