| Jonathan Gould |
Celtic Born: 7/18/68 Hometown: Westminster |
| Jonathan is the son of former Wales manager Bobby Gould, and was one of Wim Jansen's best buys. He was plucked from Bradford City's reserves in August 1997 to become one of the mainstays of the Bhoys championship winning side. Hampered by injury in 1998/99, Gould is still the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper at Parkhead, despite the arrival of Dimitri Kharine. Gould has also broken into the Scotland squad, deputising for Neil Sullivan in the Euro 2000 campaign. However, with the arrival of Martin O'Neill as manager, Gould will have to prove himself all over again. |
