Gordon Marshall
Kilmarnock
Born: 6/19/64
Hometown: Edinburgh
Kilmarnock's first choice goalkeeper - signed from Celtic midway through 1997-98 for an undisclosed six figure fee, following the departure of Yugoslavian International Dragoje Lekovic. Marshall began his senior playing career when he signed as a schoolboy for Rangers at just 16 years of age. From Ibrox he moved on to East Fife and Falkirk before he was snapped up by Celtic's Liam Brady to take over from veteran 'keeper Pat Bonner. From Parkhead he moved on to Rugby Park, via a spell on loan at St.Mirren. He made his debut for Kilmarnock in the third round of the Scottish Cup in 1998 against Stranraer where he kept the first of many clean sheets for the club. He has one full Scottish cap against the United States of America in Denver in 1992. He signed a new four year deal with the club at the end of 1998-99.
