| Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta turned on the style to inspire Roma to a 4-2 victory over Brescia.
Following a disappointing 2-0 defeat in Milan on Wednesday, Roma were looking to come away from this game with a victory. However, they found themselves trailing 2-1 at half time - despite taking the lead through Vincent Candela - thanks to a 23rd minute goal from Pierpaoloa Bisoli and a penalty by Dario Hubner just before the interval.
But the stage was set for Batistuta and he didn't fail to deliver the goods, demonstrating why Roma were so keen to sign him from Fiorentina during the summer.
The Argentine opened his account in the 59th minute from close range, before netting his brace in the 78th minute to give Roma a 3-2 lead.
But it was not until one minute into injury time that the South American ensured that he went home with the match ball, beating the keeper with a left footed drive to score his sixth goal of the season, as well as winning over the Roma fans.
The win moves AS Roma, one of the favorites for the title, into third place in the table, with 12 points from the five matches played.
