The result was not easy as Celta received goals from Catanha and Benny McCarthy in the final 20 minutes to take a 2-0 first-leg advantage. In Liga Primera action, Jesuli recorded the first double of his career as Celta cruised past Mallorca, 3-1, to maintain its perfect start to the season. Celta is unbeaten with a 6-0-3 record lifetime against Mallorca at home. In addition to his two goals, Jesuli was sent off with seven minutes remaining and will miss this weekend's match against Recreativo through suspension. Coach Miguel Angel Lotina has been pleased with his club's start to the campaign, but wants to make sure to avoid any lapses in concentration against Recreativo, which has not earned a point in the Liga Primera in almost 25 years.
