Streak: Won 1 Next Game: vs. Udinese, February 24 UEFA Cup Next Game: 4th Round, 2nd-leg at AEK Athens (February 28) Inter were back to their winning ways, defeating Verona 3-0 at the Bentegodi stadium last weekend to move back to second-place in the standings, above Roma on goal-difference...midfielder Cristiano Zanetti struck his first ever Serie A goal to open the scoring, then Christian Vieri scored twice to make it 16 goals from 15 appearances for the big man this season...coach Hector Cuper was pleased with the result, saying after the game: "the team played a good game, scored three goals and was in command for much of the encounter...I'm especially pleased with Alvaro Recoba and Clarence Seedorf, who have been in and out of the team in recent times"...on the international front, the blue & blacks came from behind to beat AEK Athens 3-1 in their UEFA Cup fourth round game on Thursday evening, thanks to goals by Javier Zanetti, Mohammed Kallon and Nicola Ventola...a young Inter fan fell from the second level of the San Siro stadium celebrating Ventola's goal, and was rushed to hospital where he's in a coma...Cristiano Zanetti misses Sunday's game against Udinese through suspension, while Ronaldo, Stephane Dalmat, Emre Belozoglu, Okan Buruk and Pasquale Padalino all miss out through injury...Inter won the corresponding fixture 2-1 last season, thanks to goals by Laurent Blanc and Marco Ferrante.
