Streak: Lost 1 Next Game: at Fiorentina, February 24 Lecce lost 2-1 at the Renato Curi stadium against Perugia last weekend, so remain in deep relegation trouble: they have won just one game from their last 13 Serie A encounters...the yellow & reds were already trailing by one goal when defender Gianluca Colonello was sent off at the end of the first-half, but Croatian striker Davor Vugrinec managed to level the score on the stroke of half-time...the southerners held out for almost the entire second-half, till Giovanni Tedesco cruelly scored Perugia's winner in the final minute of the game...coach Delio Rossi was in a bitter mood after the game, saying: "it's a pity, because the boys gave everything they had to give this afternoon"...away from the field of play, team sports director Pantaleo Corvino resigned last week...Colonello misses Sunday's game at the Artemio Franchi stadium against Fiorentina through suspension, while midfielder Rodolfo Giorgetti is still injured...Lecce have never won in Florence in nine previous league visits there.
