Fernando Nino recorded his second career goal in La Liga, but it wasn't enough for Mallorca, which has not won in nine visits to the Balaidos stadium. Veteran defender Miquel Soler, who turned 37 year, has lost his left back position to youngster Poli. Argentine striker Leo Biagini will be sidelined for the next month with an injury to his right ankle. Biagini's injury is another piece of bad news for Gregorio Manzano heading into this weekend's match against Atletico Madrid. Midfielder Vicente is already sidelined with a stress fracture while defender Federico Lussenhoff suffered a broken leg in the preseason. This weekend's match marks the return of Atletico Madrid coach Luis Aragones to face his former club.
