Elvir Bolic game Rayo a 1-0 halftime lead, but Rayo could not protect the lead in the second half as Kiki Musampa and Dely Valdes each scored early in the second half for host Malaga. Coach Fernando Vazquez is looking to make a number of changes heading into this weekend's match against Racing Santander. Mario Gomez looks set to start at the right back position while Mami Quevedo returns from injury. In addition, 17-year-old Jose Fernando Marquez could get his first action of the young season. Vazquez will be without striker Bolo, who misses the match through suspension. Vazquez, known for his ability to coach a tight defense, has not been happy with his team's play in the back. Rayo has conceded four goals in four games.
