| TEAM NOTES | Coach: Raynald Denouiex (1st year) Liga Primera Record: 2-0-0 Rank: 2nd, 6 points Last Result: 3-1 win at Espanyol, September 15 Streak: Won 2 Next Game: vs. Real Betis, September 22 Copa del Rey Last Result: 1st Round ~ 3-1 loss at Zaragoza, September 11 Real Sociedad is off to its best start in six years following a 3-1 win in Barcelona against Espanyol last weekend. The win was the Basque club's sixth straight against Espanyol. Yugoslav striker Darko Kovacevic extended his goal scoring streak to five games dating back to last season. French coach Raynald Denoueix has seen his club score a league high seven goals after two games, but the club will face a serious test as Real Betis pay visit to the Anoeta stadium this weekend. Six of the seven Real Sociedad goals have come from foreign players. International midfielder Javi De Pedro expects to be fit, but Turkish striker Nihat and defender Igor Gabilondo are in doubt with muscle strains. Sociedad have lost just four of 33 previous encounters with Real Betis in San Sebastian.
