Barcelona Reader reaction to Barcelona's spot in the Top 10: "Sixth place is unacceptable for this powerhouse." AP

CNN and World Soccer magazine release their votes each Monday for the Top 10 club football teams worldwide, and we want to know your opinion. The weekly feature has generated tremendous response. Below is a selection of some of the best from the last week. Check back next week to see the response to this week's Top 10.

Well, it's quite shameful to see the teams that are usually in top 10 are the teams that have either spent millions of dollars on signing new players or they are the teams who have numerous froeign players. It appears that football is business and the beauty and passion of the game has disappeared.!!
-- Kaveh , Dubai

Bayern Munich No. 2? Unbelievable, the way they have played this season and they can be tagged as the 2nd best club team in the world? I don't think so. Inter Milan and Lazio have been more consistent and deserving. They may be in the top ten but not No. 2. And what about Barcelona's performance in the domestic and CL? The can easily be the No. 2 team with their perfomance and line up.
-- Jay Morales, Manila, Philippines

Listen all you voters. Have you seen the Spanish primera standings? And then have you seen your standings? How do you explain Real Madrid ahead of Barcelona in your poll yet they are behind first place Barcelona in their league. Which leads to my next point...How in the World in Man U still Number 1. They won one game against a weak Sturm Graz team and have tie all the rest of their matches for the past month. they are not the best team right now. they are not playing good soccer and the only way they are going to advance in the champions League is because they have the easiest draw. Once again I repeat, Barcelona is the best team in the world right now with the best player in Rivaldo. Sixth place is unacceptable for this powerhouse. Somebody needs to screen the people that rank these club teams or at least get them out of England and look at the rest of europe, especially in Spain.
-- Paul Nelson , Yuma, Ariz.

It's for things like this top 10 that I wish a super league was formed. The results from that league would shut everybody up except the inter milan supporters out there...until then, we'll just have to be satisfied with Serie A.
-- Thurein Paing, Baltimore, Md.

A team hasn't lost in the last 26 matches and it's not in the top ten? I find that absolutly ridiculous; Universidad de Chile deserves to be in the top ten, it's the record team now in Chile and it's going for the South american record of most unbeatten matches
-- Javier Ceppi, Santiago, Chile

I can assure anyone that River Plate of Argentina can and will break this top ten in the weeks to come as they have been mesmerizing opponents for the last month in the ever difficult Argentinian 1st division. Remember the names Javier Saviola and Pablo Aimar. Saviola is the Argentine Michael Owen with one major exception, HE'S Argentinian, WHICH INSTANTLY MAKES HIM TWICE THE FOOTBALLER AS ANY ENGLISHMAN! Aimar is the new Ortega/Gallardo. DALE RIVER! They can beat any team listed above.
-- Alejandro Jurado, Chicago Ill.

how about Portugal's FC Porto? They've constantly been a threat for the past decade, have won their respective nationla championship for 5 years in a row now, have gone further in the european competitions than Feyenoord (whom hasnt really done anything outside their country) and have also had Europe's top goal scorer the last two years (Jardel). They may not be in the top 5 but definately deserve to be in the top ten.
-- Victor, Jamaica, N.Y.

How does one explain that Manchester United still remains at the top of this list when it is obvious to any old fool that Manchester United will not win anything this year. They have a killer schedule and many of their best players are injured or playing with an injury. We are not even 1/4 of the way through the English league yet let alone the champions league in which I say with all confidence that they will not move past the group phase. Then every one is going to make a big scandel about WHAT WENT WRONG WITH MANCHESTER and they will blame it on Alex Fergusson and fire him and them attack english football itself. Whilst teams such as Barcelona are playing wonderful football; have an extrordinary team and have a schedule that is well spread out thus they will be in contention for the champions league and the Spanish title and the spanish Cup at the end of the year. Then people will hopefully realise that manchester isn't all that good after all and begin to look towards other teams such as Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal, Lazio and AC Milan and realise the great clubs they have been neglecting for the past year.
-- Jack Simkin, Hong Kong

How about some sort of reaction for my man Kasey Keller at Rayo Vallecano?? 4-0 in the Spanish League, maybe a small mention as they sit atop the table in Spain. Guess what, it's Not your 5 or your 6, it's Vallecano.... Remember Kaiserslautern in Germany, maybe we'll see a repeat of that in Spain??
-- Kevin Druff, Staunton, Va.

Juventus ninth are you kidding me? They should atleast be in the top five. Feyenoord is pathetic. So is Corinthians; their play is unorganized and not really one of the best. Inter, Juve, Lazio, Man Utd. and Barcelona should be in the top 5. What is this talk about Italian leagues being overrated? Del Piero, Zidane, Inzaghi, Ronaldo, Vieri, Buffon, Van Der Sar and a lot more! Tell me you still think ither leagues are better?
-- Khalid Kassim, Amman, Jordan

I think Man U is way over rated, the team is relying on one or two players to hold them together, as they loose Stam, due to injury the team will fall apart and finish a distant second to Arsenal.
-- Casper , Delft, Holland

There's an ebb and flow to soccer. To think that Man. U will be up top forever is silly. They will come down eventually, but never out of the picture if rankings like this continue to take into account historical precedence. There are some downright revelations this season and they will not be seen in this ranking because these clubs weren't even on the map a year or two ago.
-- djKianoosh , New York, N.Y.

It is not that I am a fan of them, but I am just fan of great football in general. I think that Ajax deserves a spot. Their domestic form has been impeccable and they thrashed their UEFA Cup opponents. I think they will win the UEFA Cup, but no the league, which will be left to the great Feyenoord.
-- Brendan Koch, Chicago, Ill.

in response to Carola Vaisman who stated that no team will ever reach Manchester's level again- Where have you been? they arent the fist team ever to win a treble, are they better then the old Ajax side, or the early nineties AC Milan side, and when was the last english team to win the Champions Leaugue, stop listening to so much media hype.
-- Franco Pasquali, Melbourne, Aus.

Thank God critics are finally recognizing Inter Milan as one of the top teams in Europe even though they're not competing in any of the European competitions, but that just goes to prove how powerfull they are. They will win the Scudetto this year and the Coppa Italia.
-- Mario, Maracaibo, Venezuela

Real Madrid ranked higher than Barcelona (for one)? This must be a typo. If not, you've emphatically made a lampoon of your 'Top 10'. Someone, please, make sense of this fallacy. 'Raul Madrid' have produced merely three, labored points in their last three assignments, yet that is sufficient to make your baffling shortlist (prestigious nonetheless)? Where, then, is Reggina (for but one), which have compiled not three (oh, no!), but five (yes, five!) points against the likes of Milan (2-2), Fiorentina (2-2), and Bologna (1-0)? All of the sudden, even Rangers justify their prior election to your fray.
-- Hector Perez, Phoenix, Ariz.

Man U. has been lucky to be on the first place for so long. I my opinion, there are better clubs that stand above Man. U. (remember Euro Cup finals with Bayer Munich? - they were struggling and just got lucky). Bayer and Lazio will eventually take charge!!! I know that for SURE.
-- Filip, Seattle, Was.

I don't see why Juventus is up there, the only good thing they have done lately is win two games and they are not even in a mayor European championship
-- Jorge, Hampton, Va.

Why is Bayern ranked so high? I know they were very successful last year, but I haven't been as impressed this year. They did win their Champions League match, but they haven't been as good in the Bundesliga this year.
-- Tim Rot, Port Clinton, Ohio

Man U is the best team in the world. They've got the most money, best scoring duo (Cole & Yorke) and a man who gets the ball to them every time (Beckham). They've also got one of the best defenders in the world (Stam). Tell me which team can beat that combination. They will win back to back!!
-- David Gomes, Leiden, Holland

It's time to move Juve much higher in the rankings. They are dominating recently, and their lineup, with Del Piero, Inzaghi, Zidane, Davids, etc. is the best in the world.
-- Komail Saifee, Los Angeles, Calif.

I think Boca Juniors and River Plate from Argentina should be considered in the top ten clubs in the world. Their fast paced style and good ball control can not be matched by most European clubs.
-- Ricky, Miami, Fla.

Are you joking. Who's Feyenoord? You need to do it over because Olympiakos, Greece tied Real Madrid in a Champions League game. They have good players and a good team. Players like Giovanni, from Brazil and Zahovic, from Porto.
-- Yiavvns Tsiroyiavvns, Needham, Mass.
