1 -- Golfers who have won more than more than $1 million in career earnings in PGA Championship play. Nick Price has earned $1,007,001 spanning 16 appearances, including victories in 1992 and '94.
2 -- Times the PGA has been played at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., the first being in 1996. It is the 10th course to host multiple PGA Championships.
4 -- Champions who have finished the tournament over par in stroke play, the last being Dave Stockton in 1976.
6 -- Golfers who have won the PGA on their first try -- John Daly (1991), Bob Tway (1986), Doug Ford (1955), Bob Hamilton (1944), Tom Creavy (1931) and Jim Barnes (1916).

66 -- Tiger Woods' low round in PGA Championship play, shot in his first round of the 1998 PGA. After the opening-round 66 at Sahalee, Woods finished the tournament in 10th place at 1 under par.
71.26 -- Greg Norman's PGA scoring average, the lowest of any player with a minimum of 50 rounds. Nick Price is second at 71.29.
75 -- Highest first-round score by an eventual winner. John Mahaffey shot a 4-over-par 75 in the opening round. Mahaffey proceeded to fire a final-round 66 to complete a seven-stroke Sunday comeback, the biggest in tournament history.
87 -- Players who survived the 36-hole cut in 1983, the most in tournament history (58 percent).
89 -- Highest fourth-round score, shot by Ralph Johnson in 1972. Johnson shot 75, 74 and 75 in the opening three rounds before bottoming out to the 19-over-par 89 to finish in 77th place.
167 -- Under-par rounds at Valhalla in 1996. Only the 1995 PGA at Riviera Country Club had more (194).
267 -- Lowest 72-hole score, shared by Steve Elkington and Colin Montgomerie -- in 1995. Elkington went on to win the tournament in a playoff.
500 -- Dollars "Big Jim" Barnes won for winning the inaugural PGA in 1916, in addition to a diamond medal. Barnes beat Jack Hutchinson 1-up.
1,750 -- Dollars Joey Sindelar won for finishing 74th -- and last of players making the cut -- in last year's tournament.
