If Duke and North Carolina were to stage an alumni game of active NBA players, the Blue Devils would find themselves severely outgunned.

Duke has dominated the rivalry on the court recently, winning five in a row and seven of 10 before Thursday night's 85-83 North Carolina victory. In the meantime, though, the NBA's new wave of stars has taken on an increasingly Tar Heel flavor.

Former UNC players Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace have flourished at the next level, while former Duke standouts Trajan Langdon, Will Avery, and Corey Maggette have failed to make much of an impact. The lone exception is Elton Brand, the co-rookie of the year in 1999-00 and a rare bright spot on the Chicago Bulls.
