0 -- Number of All-Stars on nine of the NBA's 29 teams: Boston, Washington, Charlotte, Indiana, Cleveland, Chicago, Vancouver, L.A. Clippers and Golden State. The Clippers are in the midst of the league's longest All-Star drought, having been without a representative in seven years (Danny Manning, 1994). Vince Carter led all vote-getters this year with 1,717,687. AP 1.000 -- Gary Payton's career free-throw percentage (11-for-11) in six All-Star Games. Only two others have a 1.000 percentage with a minimum of 10 attempts -- Clyde Drexler (12-for-12) and Archie Clark (11-for-11). 5 -- First-time All-Stars: Vlade Divac, Tracy McGrady, Stephon Marbury, Anthony Mason and Antonio Davis. Theo Ratliff would have made it six, but he will not play because of an injury. 8 -- Of the past 11 All-Star games have included Utah teammates John Stockton and Karl Malone. Only Malone made it this season. 9 -- Players averaging at least 20.0 points per game were not selected for the All-Star game: Antawn Jamison (24.9), Paul Pierce (24.5), Antoine Walker (22.9), Jalen Rose (21.4), Dirk Nowitzki (21.2), Elton Brand (20.6), Shareef Abdur-Rahim (20.5), Jamal Mashburn (20.4) and Ron Mercer (20.0). 11 -- Times the All-Star MVP award has gone to a hometown player, with the latest being co-MVPs Karl Malone and John Stockton in 1993. It won't happen again this season -- there are no Wizards in the game, which will be played in Washington, D.C. 15 -- Of the 24 participants in this weekend's All-Star Game either left college early or went to the NBA straight from high school. 37 -- Double-doubles recorded this season by Nuggets All-Star Antonio McDyess and Spurs All-Star Tim Duncan, the league-leaders. 42 -- The record for most points in an All-Star Game, set by Wilt Chamberlain in 1962. 42.6 -- Sixers All-Star Allen Iverson's league-leading average minutes per game. 72 -- Difference between East All-Star center Theo Ratliff's blocked shots (187) and any other All-Star (Shaquille O'Neal, 115). 303 -- The record for most combined points in an All-Star Game, set in 1987 when the West beat the East 154-149 in Seattle. 90,000 -- Expected attendance to NBA Jam Session -- an interactive basketball theme park similar to the NFL Experience -- during All-Star weekend. 1,717,687 -- Votes cast for Vince Carter, the most for any 2001 All-Star. The total ranks eighth all time. Four of the top seven spots were from last year's All-Star Game.
