PARIS (AP) -- A look at Sunday's play in the French Open:

Attendance: 16,626 at Roland Garros stadium (16,610 in 1998).

Weather: Overcast and windy with occasional heavy showers. Afternoon highs of 66 F.

Winners: In the men's final, Andre Agassi (13) beat Andrei Medvedev.

Quote: "It's almost like it was just sheer destiny." -- Andre Agassi after winning his first French Open title and a career Grand Slam Sunday

Stat of the day: 5 -- Andre Agassi became only the fifth man to win all four Grand Slam events when he won the French Open Sunday. He also won the 1992 Wimbledon, the 1994 U.S. Open and the 1995 Australian Open. The other four to accomplish the feat were Fred Perry, Don Budge, Roy Emerson and Rod Laver.
