After a first-round victory over Goran Ivanisevic, Arazi has a 9-2 record at the French Open. He advanced to the quarterfinals in 1997 and 1998. Arazi has defeated Ivanisevic four times in six head-to-head meetings. So far this year, his singles record is 14-13 and his best finish was a semifinal loss to Greg Rusedski at London's Guardian Direct Cup in February.

Career highlights
Arazi has won one ATP title, the 1997 Grand Prix Hassan II in Casablanca, Morocco. His highest singles ranking was No. 31, achieved the week of April 26, 1999.

Arazi has been playing tennis since he was six. His father, Mohamed, is a tennis instructor. His mother is a housewife. Arazi speaks Arabic, French, English, Italian and Spanish. Currently, he resides in Monte Carlo, Monaco. His favorite tennis surfaces are clay and hardcourts.
