Victorious Voltchkov Qualifier wins again to reach fourth round

LONDON (Reuters) -- Belarus qualifier Vladimir Voltchkov is through to the fourth round of the men's singles at Wimbledon after defeating injured Younes El Aynaoui 7-6 (7-4), 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) on Friday. The towering Moroccan was trailing 6-7 5-5 when he twisted his left ankle at the baseline while trying to return his opponent's serve. El Aynaoui received treatment from the trainer and had his ankle heavily strapped, but the injury restricted his movement on court during the rest of the match. Voltchkov, a former boys' singles champion at Wimbledon, also received treatment for a sore shoulder but was able to take advantage of El Aynaoui's plight and wrapped up the match with powerful serving in the third set tiebreak.
