PARIS (Reuters) -- Spain's Virginia Ruano Pascual stayed on course for two French Open doubles titles on Saturday.

She teamed up with compatriot Tomas Carbonell in the mixed event to beat Argentine Paola Suarez and Brazilian Jaime Oncins 7-5, 6-3 for the title.

On Sunday the 27-year-old doubles specialist will team up with Argentine Paola Suarez to take on 16th seeds Jelena Dokic and Conchita Martinez in the women's doubles.

Pascual and Suarez, seeded second, were runners up here last year.
