PARIS (Reuters) -- Spain's Virginia Ruano Pascual completed the French Open "double-double" on Sunday, partnering with Argentine Paola Suarez to take the women's doubles crown with a 6-2, 6-1 demolition of Yugoslavia's Jelena Dokic and Spain's Conchita Martinez.

Ruano had teamed up with compatriot Tomas Carbonell to win the mixed doubles event on Saturday over Suarez and Brazilian Jamie Oncins.

It was the first Grand Slam women's doubles title for the second seeds and long-time partners, who lost in the 2000 French final to Mary Pierce and Martina Hingis.

Ruano and Suarez needed just over an hour to dispose of Martinez and Dokic, who had both been seeded in the women's singles event before losing in the third round.
