ROSMALEN, Netherlands (AP) -- Richard Krajicek says he will play Wimbledon despite an knee injury Friday that forced him withdraw from the Heineken Trophy grass-court tournament. After winning a lengthy match against Czech Slava Dosedel, 7-6 (7-3), 6-7, the 1996 Wimbledon champion pulled out of his quarterfinal against compatriot Dennis van Scheppingen. Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad quoted Krajicek Saturday as saying he was having trouble with his forehand because of the left-knee injury but would play Wimbledon, which begins Monday. "But well, I will go to Wimbledon," he said. "I'm not an invalid yet. I can walk and still go to the backhand." Dutch television said Krajicek, seeded No. 9 at Wimbledon, had met with his doctor and could face surgery later this year. He had surgery on his right knee more than a year ago.
