Alexandra Stevenson Alexandra Stevenson would love to hang around people like Derek Jeter or the cast of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer". CNNSI.com

Last year, Alexandra Stevenson became the first female qualifier ever to reach the Wimbedon semifinals. Stevenson has faced some difficult challenges since then, but the 19-year-old is focused on taking the next step forward in her career and mounting another charge at Wimbledon.

Stevenson recently spoke with CNNSI.com and gave her opinions on a wide variety of topics, including her favorite places to eat in her hometown of La Jolla, California, and her love for the WB network.

1.What's the best restaurant in La Jolla?

The best restaurant is La Jolla is ... there's so many, lets see ... I would have to say, well Johnny Rockets was there and they're really good because there's hamburgers and milkshakes and you go there on Friday nights and you could put on the jukebox and my friends and I would just dance everywhere. But unfortunately it closed so we're very upset. So our new restaurant would be this new place called Jose's and they make this great cheese crisp -- really good, but not very healthy for you. But on Saturday nights you go there and it's a bar so you have to go there early because I'm not allowed in yet, and you have to sit at the booth. They let me in though. There's another good one, its called ... Roppongi, and it's by the owner that owns Sammy's Pizza. So I've given all these restaurants a little blurb, so you're welcome.

2. Who's the best sportswriter in the U.S. not counting your mom?

I can't say my mom? All right, I'd have to say I like Scott Price. He works for Sports Illustrated and he's really funny, and he's quoted me a couple times and they've been really good and he's written some really good articles.

3. Simpsons or South Park?

Well, I don't watch either, but I've seen South Park, so I'd have to say South Park, because it's funny.

4. Who's your favorite gospel singer?

Gospel singer -- Whitney Houston

5. Do you serve faster than you drive?

Yes. I better say yes.

6. What's your favorite website?

CNNSI.com! But I also have to put in a fashion one too -- purpleskirt.com -- it's a great site.

7.Strawberries and cream or bagels and cream cheese?

Strawberries and bagels, no cream or cream cheese.

8. Who's your greatest tennis inspiration in life?

Margaret Court because she was a great champion and she was historic to the game and a wonderful person.

9. How long would you like to play tennis?

Until I win 24 Grand Slams and tie Margaret Court's record.

10. What person would you most like to spend the day with?

Can I name a couple? Derek Jeter because he's really cute, I like him, and he seems really nice. He's also a great athlete and he appreciates the historical part of the game -- we have that in common, because I like the historical aspects of tennis.

Then I would like to go to the block of the WB which has all these great TV shows -- Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Roswell, Popular, Angel -- and spend time with all the actors because I like to act and I love watching those shows so I think I'd have to do that.
