PARIS (Reuters) -- Holder Andre Agassi tops the men's seeds at the French Open starting next Monday with Martina Hingis heading the women's.

Agassi, who completed his collection of victories in the four grand slam tournaments at Roland Garros last year, is currently third in the ATP Champions Race behind Italian Open champion Magnus Norman and Sunday's Hamburg winner Gustavo Kuerten.

The American's compatriot and big rival Pete Sampras, still looking for his first French Open victory, is seeded second with Norman three.

Agassi's girlfriend Steffi Graf has retired since winning her sixth French Open title last year.

American Linday Davenport is second seed among the women and Monica Seles, who won her second Italian Open title on Sunday, third.
