BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- Sara Errani became the fourth straight Italian to win the Barcelona Open title after beating third-seeded Dominika Cibulkova 6-2, 6-2 in the final Sunday.

The seventh-seeded Errani needed just over an hour to defeat Cibulkova on the outdoor clay court where Roberta Vinci won in 2011 and 2009 and Francesca Schiavone won in 2010.

Errani took advantage of Cibulkova's shaky serve and seven double-faults to break the Slovak player six times en route to victory.

Errani won her second title of the year after a victory in Acapulco in February. In both Acapulco and Barcelona, in addition to the singles title, Errani teamed with Vinci to win the doubles title.
