MARK VIVIANO

Biography

    Mark Viviano is an anchor for CNN/Sports Illustrated. Viviano joined the network from WBAL-TV in Baltimore, where he served as weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter.

    During his tenure at WBAL-TV (1994-1999), Viviano reported on the Orioles and Ravens. He gained national recognition as the reporter who broke the story of the Cleveland Browns move to Baltimore. Additionally, he worked for Baltimore's WBAL-AM/WIYY-FM, where he served as the morning drive radio sportscaster and host of call-in shows. From 1989 to 1994, he spent time as a sports director and weekend sports anchor for the ABC affiliate WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio. Viviano began his career at KCRG-TV, the ABC affiliate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1986.

    Viviano received his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in 1986.
