Cleveland Indians -- Placed pitcher Jaret Wright on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 3, due to inflammation of the right shoulder; activated pitcher Paul Rigdon.
Chicago White Sox -- Agreed to terms with free agent pitcher Kevin Zaug.
Milwaukee Brewers -- Placed pitcher Jeff D'Amico on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 6, with right rotator cuff tendinitis; signed pitchers Brian Nielsen and Daniel Hall, first baseman-outfielder Jon Hart and outfielder Zachary Thompson.
Montreal Expos -- Released pitcher Jim Poole; placed catcher Lenny Webster on the 15-day disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis.
Philadelphia Phillies -- Signed pitchers Taylor Buchholz and Trevor Bullock, outfielders Brandon Caraway and Anthony Hensley, first baseman Reginald Griggs and catcher Kevin Sullivan; optioned pitcher Steve Schrenk to Scranton of the International League (AAA).
San Diego Padres -- Placed pitcher Brian Boehringer on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 4, with right shoulder tendinitis; recalled pitcher Domingo Guzman from Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).
