Homestead-Miami Speedway -- Named Lorraine Leal controller.


BASEBALL TRANSACTIONS
Anaheim Angels -- Placed pitcher Kent Bottenfield on the 15-day disabled list with tendinitis in his right shoulder; recalled pitcher Lou Pote from Edmonton of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).
Arizona Diamondbacks -- Signed catchers John Massey and Craig Ansman, pitcher Joseph Riccardi and infielder Orlando Delvanez.
Cleveland Indians -- Purchased the contract of pitcher Kane Davis from Buffalo of the International League (AAA); optioned pitcher Mark Watson to Buffalo; designated pitcher Jared Camp for assignment.
Detroit Tigers -- Signed pitcher Matt Wheatland; sold the contract of pitcher Masao Kida to the Orix Blue Wave of the Japanese Pacific League.
Los Angeles Dodgers -- Acquired pitcher Kenny Kutz from the Cincinnati Reds to complete the April 1 trade thast sent infielder Juan Castro to Cincinnati.
Milwaukee Brewers -- Agreed to terms with pitchers Ryan Miller and Byron Batson, shortstop Scott Candelaria and catcher Shaun Gragg.
New York Mets -- Sold the contract of outfielder Jon Nunnally to the Orix Blue Wave of the Japanese Pacific League.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays -- Signed third baseman Kelly Eddlemon, outfielder John Hill and pitchers Richard Dorman, Timothy Coward, Josh Anderson and Juan Renteria.
