Minnesota Twins -- Placed catcher Chad Moeller on the 15-day disabled list with a torn right meniscus; recalled catcher A.J. Pierzynski and pitcher Matt Kinney from Salt Lake of the Pacific Coast League (AAA); optioned pitcher Jason Ryan to Salt Lake. Montreal Expos -- Traded pitcher Matt Skrmetta to the Pittsburgh Pirates for infielder Jarrod Patterson; assigned Patterson to Ottawa of the International League (AAA).
