BASEBALL TRANSACTIONS
Atlanta Braves -- Activated left fielder Reggie Sanders from the 15-day disabled list; optioned outfielder George Lombard to Richmond of the International League (AAA).
Colorado Rockies -- Activated pitcher Mike DeJean from the 15-day disabled list; designated pitcher Scott Karl for assignment.
Kansas City Royals -- Placed second baseman Carlos Febles on the 15-day disabled list with a bruised right ankle; recalled outfielder Scott Pose from Omaha of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).
Milwaukee Brewers -- Placed infielder Jose Hernandez on the 15-day disabled list with a strained lower back, retroactive to August 10; activated outfielder Mark Sweeney from the 15-day disabled list.
Montreal Expos -- Recalled shortstop Orlando Cabrera from Ottawa of the International League (AAA); optioned shortstop Tomas De La Rosa to Ottawa.
Philadelphia Phillies -- Activated pitcher Jason Boyd from the disabled list; designated pitcher Mark Holzemer for assignment.
