Houston Astros -- Placed infielder Tripp Cromer on the 15-day disabled list due to personal reasons; purchased the contract of pitcher Rusty Meacham from New Orleans of the Pacific Coast League (AAA). Jupiter Hammerheads (Florida State League/A) -- Activated pitcher Jorge Julio from the disabled list; placed pitcher Mark Mangum on the disabled list.
