Cleveland Indians -- Purchased the contract of infielder Earl Snyder from Buffalo of the International League (AAA); designated outfielder Wil Cordero for assignment. Detroit Tigers -- Purcahsed the contract of pitcher Julio Santana from Toledo of the International League (AAA); activated infielder Damian Jackson from the 15-day disabled list; placed catcher Mitch Meluskey on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 21, with lower back pain; designated pitcher Matt Perisho for assignment; optioned outfielder Craig Monroe to Toledo; recalled catcher Brandon Inge from Toledo. San Francisco Giants -- Traded outfielder Calvin Murray to the Texas Rangers for cash considerations.
