Montreal Canadiens-- Acquired defenseman Zarley Zalapski and left wing Jonas Hoglund from the Calgary Flames for right wing Valeri Bure and future considerations; recalled defenseman Eric Houde from Fredericton of the American Hockey League.

St. Louis Blues -- Loaned foward Michel Picard to Grand Rapids of the International League.

Grand Rapids Griffins -- Signed defenseman Travis Tucker to a 25-game tryout.

Huntington Blizzard (ECHL) -- Added goaltender Chris Wickenheiser; released goaltender Blaine Russell.

Mississippi Sea Wolves (ECHL) -- Added left wing Greg Lakovic.

Mobile Mysticks (ECHL) -- Released forward Neil Donovan.

Peoria Rivermen (ECHL) -- Avtivated left wing Tom White from injured reserve; added goaltender Brian Hamilton as emergency backup.
