Boston Red Sox -- Placed pitcher John Wasdin on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right forearm; recalled pitchers Jin Ho Cho and Marino Santana from Pawtucket of the International League (AAA); optioned infielder Wilton Veras to Trenton of the Eastern League (AA). Milwaukee Brewers -- Designated pitcher Jim Pittsley for assignment; recalled pitcher Kyle Peterson from Louisville of the International League (AAA).
