Arizona Diamondbacks -- Recalled pitcher Erik Sabel from Tucson of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).

Atlanta Braves -- Activated outfielder Otis Nixon from the 15-day disabled list; recalled pitcher Derrin Ebert from Richmond of the International League (AAA); purchased the contract of infielder Howard Battle from Richmond; optioned pitcher Mike Cather to Richmond and pitcher Joe Winkelsas to Greenville of the Southern League (AA).
