The National Basketball Association returns to TNT and TBS Superstation for the 2001-2002 season, as the networks combine to televise 79 games - 48 games on TNT and 31 games on the Superstation.
This is the 18th consecutive year that Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.'s networks will televise the NBA. TBS Superstation televises games on Tuesday nights, and TNT will televise games on Wednesday and Thursday nights, making this the second straight year Turner presents NBA action on three consecutive nights. Inside The NBA immediately follows the last game each night on TNT and TBS.
