Change in plans Jordan's first two games to be televised by Turner SportsNEW YORK (AP) -- Michael Jordan's first two games with the Washington Wizards will be televised by Turner Sports. The Wizards' season opener, at the New York Knicks on Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m., will air on TBS. Washington's next game, at the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m., will be on TNT. Turner also added three other Wizards regular-season games: at Boston on Nov. 7, vs. Charlotte on Nov. 20, and at Indiana on Nov. 22. TNT will broadcast a preseason game between Washington and New Jersey on Oct. 20. More additions to the TV schedule could come. "We'll work with the NBA as the season unfolds and add more games on a timely basis, as warranted," Turner Sports spokesman Greg Hughes said Monday. Turner Sports originally was scheduled to air just one Wizards game this season; TNT and TBS are allowed to air any team up to 15 times. NBC announced Sunday that will air Jordan's home opener with the Wizards on Nov. 3 against Philadelphia, and Washington's game against Orlando on Dec. 1. NBC originally planned to open its NBA schedule with a Dec. 25 doubleheader.
