BRYAN BURWELL
A veteran newspaper columnist and television commentator, Bryan Burwell joined Turner Sports in March 1997 as a reporter, essayist and studio commentator for NBA, NFL and other sports coverage on TNT and TBS Superstation.

He served as a sports columnist at USA Today from 1992-97 and has served as a commentator for HBO Sports' "Inside the NFL" and boxing telecasts. He will continue to contribute reports to "Inside the NFL."

Burwell has covered NBA and NFL teams as a beat writer and has also covered college basketball, college football, the Olympics and boxing. He has worked as reporter and/or columnist for the Baltimore Sun, Washington Star, Newsday, New York Daily News and Detroit News.

As a reporter, he has covered 14 Super Bowls, three Olympics, 12 NBA Finals, 11 NCAA Final Fours, the World Series, Wimbledon, the Boston Marathon, the Indianapolis 500 and other events.
