Jessica, 17, and Sasha, 15, each won a U.S. Handball Association National Junior championship in her age division. Jessica defeated Heather Monroe of Minneapolis 21-9, 21-6 to earn the girls' 17-and-under crown. Sasha topped Kim Wyley of Edmonton, Alberta, 21-12, 13-21, 11-3 to win the 15-and-under championship. Jessica also placed second, to Lupita Alvarado of Hesperia, Calif., in the girls' 19-and-under division.
Roderick, a 6'7" senior forward at St. Anthony's High, had 34 points and 13 rebounds in a 68-64 win over Elizabeth High. He was averaging 23.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, four blocks and four steals at the end of last week.
Ryan, a senior hockey left wing at the Nichols School, had 19 goals and 27 assists in 19 games for the Vikings through last week. He also was the youngest member of the U.S. Junior World team, which won the bronze.

Douse, a senior swimmer at North Carolina, won seven events at the ACC Championships to lead the Tar Heels to the conference title. She set an ACC record in the 50-yard free (22.95) and was named the meet's MVP
Moyer, 52, the wrestling coach at Wayland High, won his 400th match in 30 years of coaching by guiding the Warriors to a 57-11 defeat of Waltham High. His teams have gone 406-50-5 and won three state titles.
