Agosti, a senior at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., took part in all five of the school's women's sports (cross-country, volleyball, soccer, basketball and softball) this year while maintaining a 3.8 grade point average.
Paul, a senior shortstop and pitcher at Danville High, set a national high school mark by hitting 61 career home runs, breaking the record of 54 homers set by Rod Walker of Morristown—Hamblen ( Tenn.) West in 1989.
Ainsworth, a freshman at Kenyon College, was named the Division III swimmer of the year after winning the 100- and 200-yard freestyles at the division's nationals, in 51.28 and a meet-record 1:51.80, respectively.

Rhea Lee, a junior softball pitcher at Moon Valley High, had a 24-2 record, a 0.12 ERA and 247 strikeouts in 175 innings as the Rockets won the 5A state title. She also led Moon Valley with a .455 batting average.
Jermaine, a senior sprinter at Eleanor Roosevelt High, set a national indoor high school record when he clocked a 21.40 in the 200 meters, breaking by .01 the mark established by Chris Nelloms of Dayton in 1990.

McCarrick, 47, has led the Miller Place High badminton team to a 304-0 record in her 21 years as coach. With their 293rd win on April 7, the Panthers set a national mark for consecutive wins in any high school sport.
