Except for Mary Lou Retton, all of the speakers you mention are male. Given the lack of high-profile pro women's team sports, the paucity of marquee female coaches and athletes who might convert their fame into lucrative speaking contracts is understandable. However, one must question the message that the women in the audience receive as these male coaches and former athletes give their speeches and distill the principles of leadership, management and success. These qualities, in sports at least, are packaged and sold as male traits.
