Kyndal, 10, won the junior girls' national championship of the Ironkids Triathlon Series. Six days later her coach, Marschall, 33, was fifth in the world, and the top U.S. finisher, in his age group at the Ironman Triathlon world championships. Kyndal finished her race, which included a 100-yard swim followed by a five-kilometer bike ride and a one-kilometer run, in 17:35. The victory was her seventh of the Ironkids season. Marschall, a personal trainer and a coach, completed the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run in 9:13:58. He also won the Western Kentucky Half Ironman this year.

Sara Hills
ALEXANDRIA, VA.
Sara, a senior forward on the St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School field hockey team, scored two goals, her 19th and 20th of the year, in the Saints' 3-0 win over Georgetown Visitation in the Independent School League title game. The Saints were 15-0 and unscored upon for the season.

Pierre Lueders
EDMONTON
Lueders, 25 and a world-champion driver, won the Canadian two-man bobsled crown for the second straight year. He and brakeman Dave MacEachern of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, defeated Chris Lori of Windsor, Ont., and Matt Hindle of Lethbridge, Alberta, by .52 of a second.

Errol McDonald
REXDALE, ONT.
Errol, a 12th-grader at Central Tech, scored 11 TDs for the Blues' football team last year; anchored the three-time provincial-champion 4x100 track relay team; and, as of last Saturday, had three goals and two assists in 12 games for the Junior A Newmarket 87s in the Metropolitan Toronto Hockey League.

Ken Macdonald
GLEN ROCK, N.J.
Ken, a senior on the Glen Rock High golf team, swept the New Jersey high school, the Metropolitan Junior, the Rutgers Junior Invitational and the New Jersey State Golf Association Junior championships. For the high school season he had a stroke average of 70.02 and two holes in one.

1
