If the budget crisis is resolved, President Clinton plans to make a return trip to play in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic later this month. Secret Service agents reportedly made a scouting trip to Palm Springs last week....

Greg Norman has fired the first shot in the buildup to September's Presidents Cup competition between the U.S. and the International team made up of players from Africa, Asia and Australia. At a press gathering Norman told Arnold Palmer, the U.S. captain, that the International team would "kick his ass."
