From California to the Carolinas, teams are turning teal. Last week the Detroit Pistons announced plans to forsake their traditional blue, white and red uniforms for new ones featuring the sports world's cutting-edge color, the one that brings in the merchandising green. Even the New York Rangers' notorious blue seats have become—is nothing sacred?—the teal seats. Our dictionary defines teal as bluish green or greenish blue. Either way, the trend has us feeling a little greenish, as well as a little blue. We wonder: Where will it end?
