Slugging San Francisco Giants leftfielder Barry Bonds guest stars on Nash Bridges (CBS, Friday, 10 p.m.) as arrogant baseball star Rondell Hightower in what may be the most daring thespian leap since Tori Spelling began portraying a vacuous blonde on Beverly Hills 90210. In this repeat episode Bridges (Don Johnson), a Bay Area detective, and his trusty sidekick, Joe (Cheech Marin, seen last summer on the big screen as Kevin Costner's trusty caddie in Tin Cup), are enlisted by Hightower to help him locate a lost good-luck charm. We have a hot tip for you, Det. Bridges: It's been traded to the Cleveland Indians.
