Tim Lorber
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OHIO

Jim and Tim, senior twins at Benedictine High, helped their school become the first in Ohio history to win three state titles during the same academic year when they ran the middle two legs—Jim's was the third—for the Bengals' victorious 4 X 400-meter relay team that lifted Benedictine to the Division II track and field crown. Tim also was a linebacker on Benedictine's 12-1 Division III state-champion football team and a reserve guard on its 23-5 Division II title-winning basketball squad, while Jim played cornerback in football. They plan to run track and play football at Allegheny (Pa.) College, starting in the fall.

Tinah Houck
WESTMINSTER, MD.
Houck, a senior attacker on the College of Notre Dame lacrosse team, was named the most outstanding player in the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference after scoring 50 goals to lead the Gators to the league title. She has also been the conference's top player in field hockey and basketball.

Jerry Courville Jr.
MILFORD, CONN.
Courville, 38, fired a nine-under-par 207 over 54 holes to win the Metropolitan Golf Association stroke-play crown by seven shots over J.J. Henry, 22, of Fairfield, Conn., at the Meadowbrook Club in Jericho, N.Y. Courville has been named to the '97 U.S. Walker Cup team.

Adrian Barraza
COVINA, CALIF.
Adrian, a senior first baseman for Gladstone High, tied the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section single-season record for RBIs with 62. He also batted .506 with nine home runs for the Gladiators. Next year, Adrian will play at Citrus College, a two-year school in Glendora, Calif.

Danielle Penner
BRAMPTON, ONT.
Penner, a junior pitcher on the California (Pa.) University Softball team, led the Lady Vulcans to the Division II title by not allowing an earned run in five games at the nationals, including a 2-1 win over Wisconsin-Parkside in the championship game. She finished the season 50-3 with a 0.51 ERA.
