Over the last four seasons Tennessee, Colorado, North Carolina, Ohio State and Syracuse have combined for zero outright conference titles and zero national championships. The reason: They've gone 1-19 in games against, respectively, Florida, Nebraska, Florida State, Michigan and Miami, who together have won 11 outright league crowns and four national titles since 1993. Here's how this close-but-no-cigar group got smoked last year, with each loser's record and national ranking going into its big matchup and at the end of the season.
