That backlash did little to temper Bryant's confidence, proving that youth—and otherworldly hang time—mean never having to say you're sorry. Shortly before this season began, Bryant was asked if he regretted his actions at the All-Star Game. "Absolutely not!" he answered. "I'd do it all over again. I had a blast in that game. I'm sorry if some guys didn't like it, but this is who I am."

It goes without saying that Bryant will most likely continue to be a starter for the next, oh, 15 years or so.
