In the top of the fifth inning of last Saturday's Yankees-Mets game, Fox went to a split screen to show Cubs slugger Sammy Sosa at bat against the White Sox, with audio from Comiskey Park. While announcer Josh Lewin was describing Sammy's strikeout, Yankees Ricky Ledee and Jorge Posada were slugging back-to-back homers and circling the bases to on-screen silence. The bonus coverage was well intentioned, but this time the network out-Foxed itself.
