Because she has to wait until 2004 to be inducted, Sorenstam, who whipped Pat Hurst in a playoff at the Welch's/Circle K in Tucson, says she doesn't "feel like a Hall of Famer." The tour, she says, "made the [entry] requirements too easy."

...At her current pace Karrie Webb, who joined the tour in 1996, will spend more time waiting to fulfill the 10-year membership requirement for the Hall than she will need to accrue the necessary qualifying points.

Next time Brian Gay, whose birdie on the 71st hole was changed to a par because he waited too long for the putt to drop, says he'll know how to beat the 10-second rule.
