Manager Mike Hargrove and most of the Orioles, who were scheduled to make up a June 6 rainout with the Mets the next day, had to fly home to Baltimore when they couldn't secure enough rooms for the team and its entourage within 90 minutes of Shea Stadium. They jetted back the next morning and lost 8-7.
